Governor Dankwambo Bags Chieftancy Title of Akinmuagun of Ado-Ekiti

OON (Talban Gombe) alongside his wife, Hajiya Adama Dankwambo have been conferred with the Chieftancy  titles of Akinmuagun of Ado-Ekiti and Yeye Akinmuagun of Ado Ekiti respectively, the coronation took place on Friday, 25th August, 2017 at the palace of the foremost monarch in Ekiti State, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe. Before the Coronation event, Governor Dankwambo alongside his Ekiti State counterpart, Governor Ayodele Fasoye commissioned the new hall in Oba Rafus Adeyemo Adejugbe's  palace built by the Governor of of Ekiti State to honour the Ewi of Ado Ekiti and the good People Ekiti State. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state Received Delegates From United state Of America.

Earlier today, Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai of Kaduna state met with a delegation from the United States of America comprising of Senators and Members of the House of Representatives. The delegation is in Nigeria to strengthen relationships between the United States and Nigeria and discuss better collaborations in the sectors of Education, Security, Agriculture, Mining and Health. Also at the meeting was the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr W. Stuart Symington. At the end of the meeting, leader of the delegation, Senator Christopher Coons presented Governor El-Rufai with a gift and commended him for being an impressive Governor.

Mother Re-unite with her Missing Son Through Facebook Three Years After He was Abducted

Facebook has reunited a mother and her son who was abducted three years ago. Suleiman Abba Umar who is now 15 years old, was abducted on January 6, 2014, in Kado, Abuja after the close of school. His family searched for him — in Nasarawa, Kano, Abuja and Kaduna states —all to no avail. Umar said after his abduction by unidentified persons, He regained consciousness only to find himself on a pile of corpses by the beach in Lagos. some with missing heads or limbs. I was terrified he said”. The teenager said he had to work menial jobs, like bricklaying, to survive. “I visited food vendors, pushed disabled people on wheelchairs for a commission of their takings for the day, sometimes as low as N100 daily. “I met one Muhammed, and we became friends, so I soon moved to their shanty. DIRECTOR-GENERAL, NADDC MR JELANI ALIYU VISITS INNOSON VEHCLE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN NNEWI.

The Director - General, NADDC,Mr Jelani Aliyu visited the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company in Nnewi as his first visit to any Nigerian automotive manufacturer. Chief Innocent Chukwuma, Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, gave the Director-General a tour of the factory, showcasing the different models of SUVs, cars and buses that the company manufactures. The Director General stated, "he is very happy and excited to be at Innoson and to see the wonderful work being done. This is something that all Nigerians should be proud of, to see an indigenous automobile manufacturer producing cars right in Nnewi, making a significant contribution to the local and national economies, and to the development of the nation's automotive sector".    Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company is the first indigenous company in Nigeria to produce vehicles and is also set to export internationally. Unknown Gunmen Attack EFCC Headquarters Wuse Zone7 Abuja.

A major security breach was recorded at the headquarters of the EFCC in the early hours of Wednesday, August 16, 2017 as unknown gunmen attacked the office located at Wuse Zone 7, Abuja. The group of heavily armed bandits invaded the office at about 05.00 hours and began sporadic shooting into the premises, damaging vehicles parked in the premises in the process. However, the attack was repelled by guards on duty. The hoodlums escaped in a getaway vehicle but not without leaving a message; a white envelope dropped by the fleeing attackers was found to contain a death threat addressed to Ishaku Sharu, a senior investigator with the Commission. Ishaku who heads the Foreign Exchange Malpractices Fraud Section is in charge of corruption investigation involving several politically exposed persons and retired military brass hats.

The Nigeria Police has paraded 40 more suspects over alleged kidnappings on the Abuja-Kaduna high-way. Police spokesman, CSP Jimoh Moshood said the Police Force’s Operations Absolute Sanity smashed the gang of suspected kidnappers on the Abuja-Kaduna highway and recovered large caches of arms and ammunition and properties of victims. The arrested suspects are: Ali Bello (gang leader), Goma Shehu, Mohammed Muju’a, Danladi Hassan, Mohammed Abubakar ,  Daniel Owobi, Egwu Ogiri, Bashir Haruna ,  Shedrach Hosiah, Victor Yohanna , Suleiman Isah. Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai lead a team of delegates to the Ethiopian Airlines Headquarters in Addis Ababa

Ealiar today, Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai lead a team of kaduna state government delegates to the Ethiopian Airlines Headquarters in Addis Ababa for a meeting and facility tour of the Airline's cargo terminal and Aviation Academy which are the largest in the Continent.  The Governor's delegation include the State Government Officials, State Party leaders and the President of Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture, Hajiya Farida Dankaka. The team was welcomed at the Ethiopian Airways Headquarters in Addis Ababa by the Group CEO of Ethiopian Airways, Tewolde Gebremariam and the MD, International Services, Mr. Esayas Woldemariam. At the meeting with Officials of Ethiopian Airlines, Mallam El-Rufai stated that he will do everything necessary to ensure that the Kaduna-Addis Ababa route is viable. The CEO of Ethiopian Airlines said that the Airline is willing to support Kaduna state and Nigeria to achieve maximum support in the Aviation Industry.
